Orthanc - Belgium : Heavy Metal
Orthanc was well know in the 90s, playing shows with B-THONG, Annihilator and Channel Zero. They also won the Metalopolis band battle.
THEM : Heavy Metal
Prepare yourself for "THEM," a theatrical Heavy Metal band comprised of stellar musicians from around the globe.
THEM was originally formed in 2008 by vocalist Troy as a King Diamond tribute band.
Their debut concept album, "Sweet Hollow," chronicles the bizarre journey of a man caught between unfortunate circumstance and unspeakable evil.
In support of "Sweet Hollow", THEM has performed throughout the USA and Canada in 2016 as direct support for Helloween and then as headliners in 2017 throughout numerous European countries including Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Belgium and Austria.
THEM will be releasing their follow up entitled "Manor of the Se7en Gables" in 2018.
►► OPENBAAR VERVOER
De bussen rijden tot ongeveer 24u en vanaf 05u20 weer terug. De volgende bussen kun je nemen aan Gent-Sint-Pieters, Gent Zuid en Gent Dampoort en stoppen vlakbij Asgaard (Halte P+R Oostakker):
Lijn 17 - Drongen Station - P+R Oostakker
Lijn 18 - Merendree - Drongen Luchteren - P+R Oostakker
Lijn 76 - De Pinte - Gent - Lochristi - Wachtebeke
Lijn 77 - Deinze - Gent - Lochristi - Beervelde
Lijn 78 - Zevergem - De Pinte - Gent - Lochristi - Lokeren
Op 10 minuten stappen:
Lijn 38 - Gent Blaarmeersen - Sint-Amandsberg Achtendries
Lijn 39 - Gent Blaarmeersen - Oostakker Dorp
Het is dus heel makkelijk om met de bus te komen en terug te keren naar Gent.
Vanuit Gent kun je ook een taxi pakken, vanaf de Vlasmarkt is dit bijvoorbeeld ongeveer 8 euro.
►► MET DE AUTO: PARKING
De parking van de Carrefour Oostakker oprijden (P+R Oostakker). Asgaard ligt dan aan de rechterkant. Er is meer dan genoeg gratis parkeerplaats en deze parking wordt niet afgesloten, waardoor je er vrij op- en af kunt rijden.
